Game Vision Statement

"Mirror Matter" is a 3D endless running game for PC that travels through an endless entertaining world of colour and mirrors where a mirror can hold a lot more than you bargained for. Will luck be on your side or will you fall through a mirror never to return?

In this game you will navigate a player through a 3D world filled with obstacles and mirrors. The longer you stay running in the game the more points you will earn. The more points you earn the higher on the leader board you will be. You start the game in a third person perspective controlling a 3D stickman. As you guide the runner through the course you will dodge oncoming obstacles of old broken mirrors which now cover the course and brave the new world located in each shiny new upstanding mirror. When you run though a mirror in the game an aspect of the game will change. These changes range from;

1. Colour. You start the game with a basic black and white grayscale theme. If you are brave enough to pass through a mirror (for extra points) you can be transported to a course which uses complimentary colours making the rest of the journey easy to navigate and gain more points. However you could pass through a mirror which brings you to a running course which uses conflicting colours, making it harder to navigate and dodge obstacles and gain points. These colours can range from total eye sore to complimentary and beautiful.

2. Running Direction. You will have played an endless 3D running game before but have you played it running backwards. Mirrors are known to reflect and thats what may happen if you run through a mirror which changes the direction of the game. When you pass through a mirror it can change the direction your player is running. This can result in the game being flipped and your player running backwards. This makes the game harder to navigate as it isn't as clear what obstacles are coming from ahead as the camera view doesn't allow you to see and gear yourself up for dodging.

3.Gravity. You are running along and gaining a lot of points for staying on course for a long period of time and then boom, you run through the gravity mirror. This mirror moves your player to a course of free falling. As you are free falling you are dodging obstacles and looking for your next mirror to reset yourself back onto the running course. The gravity mirror gives the game a whole new perspective on how you are looking at the player making its way through the course and can make the game very challenging to pass.

4. Camera Angle. Taking on a mirror may result in your camera angle being changed of your player and your perspective being altered of the rest of the running course. This could help or hinder your progress and your points building.

"Mirror Matter" will create a world where time = points. The longer you stay the more you slay. You must be brave enough to use the mirrors for extra points in order to get on that leaderboard. Use your intuition to guide the player in this original take on a long loved gaming style. You will come back for more with the addictive "Mirror Matter" controls and features.

"Mirror Matter" is an insanely-random and sweetly addictive 3D endless runner game that will have you hooked as you race through the mirrors and up the leaderboard.

The target platform for "Mirror Matter" is on the PC. This is for the initial launch of the game and could potentially be translated to mobile devices and downloaded as an app.

Here is some concept art of the game. This is the start of the game and how the player will start the course. The obstacles are shown as well as the magic mirrors.
